Online Registration

Parents who wish to enroll a student who is not currently attending any BUSD schools, please click the link below. This link will take you to an external site to begin your online registration.
If you are unable to upload your students documents into OLR please or you have paper enrollment packet(s) come into our office to complete your child's enrollment.
All required documents are on the next tab.

The registration below is NOT for the 2026-2027 Barstow Fine Arts Academy application.

Central Enrollment Center has computers available to parents to complete an online registration.

Utility service contract, statement, or payment receipt – a service to the house.
Pay stub
Mail/Letter from government agency
Monthly mortgage statement
Escrow Papers
Current rental/lease agreement
Rent receipt with name, address, date, phone number and signature of the owner/manager

All proof of residency must be dated within 30 days of the appointment to enroll.

Students with Special Education (IEP) Services

The Annual Update also know as Emergency Contact Updates, includes verification of household information, such as addresses and phone numbers, as well as emergency contact information, updates to health information, and permissions for yearbook and media photo releases. To complete the Annual Update, please sign into your Infinite Campus parent portal account and click on the three lines in the upper left hand corner then click on Online Registration, followed by 2025-2026 Annual Update.

If you do not have an Infinite Campus parent portal account, please complete this form to obtain your activation key. The form can also be submitted if you need your parent portal password reset. If you do not have an Infinite Campus parent portal account, please visit our district website, www.busdk12.com, click on the green Infinite Campus widget (to the right), and complete the form for new account creation or password reset. If accessing on a mobile phone, click the three lines in the upper left hand corner, then scroll down to Quicklinks, tap the + symbol, then tap Infinite Campus.

If you DO NOT have a parent portal set up please follow the following steps to activate your portal.

To obtain your Activation Code (GUID number) contact your child's school site or you can visit the CEC (must present valid ID).
Click Here to be redirected to the parent portal link.
Click the Campus Parent button
Click New User?
Enter your Activation Key
Enter your information to create your account
After your account has been created, return to log in screen to enter your Username and Password.

2025-2026 Bus Routes

Bus Transportation information

All middle school and high school students that live within the District-defined walking distance from their school are not eligible for school bus transportation. Additionally, transportation may not be available to any elementary school student who resides within the walking distance to their school or to any student that is not attending their home school. Students who reside outside the boundaries of Barstow Unified School District are not eligible for school bus transportation.

Intra-District Transfer

2025-2026

An intra-district transfer/open enrollment is when parents/guardians wish to enroll their student(s) at a school other than the designated school that is in their boundary area within BUSD. In order to ensure that priorities for enrollment in district schools are implemented in accordance with law and Board policy, applications for intra-district open enrollment shall be submitted between April 15 and June 1 of the school year preceding the school year for which the transfer is requested.

Para garantizar que las prioridades de inscripción en las escuelas del distrito se implementen de acuerdo con la ley y la política del distrito, las solicitudes de inscripción abierta se deben someter entre el 15 de abril y el 1 de junio del 2025 al centro del inscripcion.

Inter-District Transfers

Inter-District transfer permits, are used to allow students to attend school OUTSIDE of their district of residence . A transfer application must originate from the student’s district of residence. If you need an application for your student to attend a school outside of Barstow Unified School District, please come into the Pupil Service office to pick up an application or print one here. All completed applications are to be turned into Pupil Services. If you have any additional questions, please contact 760-255-6028.
